manager
Thomas Nalian
Manager of Dark Matter and WHOiSEE. Founder of MyHydrationPack and tenx10. Musician. Michigan.

Thomas Nalian is an artist manager and the founder of tenx10, a Michigan management company and the platform it runs on. He manages WHOiSEE and Dark Matter. Previously worked in label A&R and artist management.
He came up as a musician, playing lead guitar in a rock band before managing his first act, the rap group SMD, to the Red Bull Soundstage and a meeting with Sony in New York. In 2018 he left a senior sales job to start MyHydrationPack, which grew into a merch company making jerseys and full lines for artists, labels and festivals. He co-founded the visual art group IVAN and built the Find Carl Bus, a Greyhound with a stage on the roof.
He puts artists together who would never have met.
He manages both Dark Matter and WHOiSEE. Under his management Dark Matter landed a release, another EP and their first major festival set, and WHOiSEE went from about 6,000 Spotify listeners a month to a peak above 25,000 in under a year on a release every four weeks.
His approach starts with the foundation: publishing, registrations, contracts and a release plan in place before the push. From there he builds the artist's branding and messaging, relationships with promoters and labels that are real friendships, and a team that is accountable and reliable.
tenx10 takes its name from his initials. It is how he manages, built into a platform that takes the busywork off artists and managers so artists get their time back to make music.
approach
Publishing registered, royalties collected, contracts signed and a release schedule set before any money goes into marketing.
Every artist gets a defined brand, down to the archetype behind it, so a tour, a release and a merch table all look like the same artist.
What the artist says matches what the artist is doing. Marketing is set up right from the start and checked against the numbers.
Built on real friendship. He works with the same promoters across multiple markets and makes sure the promoter makes money. "Let's do a show where we're all winning."
Defined roles, clear accountability and people who are reliable. Everyone knows their job and does it.

At EDC he went to the merch booth to buy a festival hydration pack and there wasn't one. He prototyped in 2017 and launched in 2018, with packs themed on Bear Grillz, Destroid, Excision, Dion Timmer, LSDREAM, Snails and Subtronics.
A pack contract with DanceSafe, and a partnership with a filtration company to bring free water filtration to festivals and comic cons.
